Where to Buy Packaging Machines in Sri Lanka  Certain products are easy to come and are readily available to buy for anyone. But then there are certainly other products that people have absolutely no clue on where to get from. The other day I was speaking to an entrepreneur from Kandy, he had the idea of starting up a small scale spice business. How Kirulapana Get It's Name

How Kirulapana Get Its Name Kirulapana, Colombo 06 is more or less a balance between a commercial and residential area. The name sounds a bit awkward to pronounce at least to some! So for the ones who travelled in the direction randomly named the place as "Kirala-pene-thena" or the place where the Kotte throne can be seen.  As time went on the name evolved to what we call today as Kirulapana.

A very long time ago pandura was a fishing village; during the pre-British era, the people in the area, and their lives were highly attached and influenced by the ocean. Fisherman used to go out to sea and as a signal back home people in the area had lit a  lamp on a rock that was located close to the vicinity of the land. This lamp (Pahana) on the rock was a trail back home to the fisherman. People in the area made sure that the lamp would always burn for the safety of their family who had wandered into the m...
